Management Team
   

Jim Stritzinger
President
Prior to founding RevolutionD, Jim served as Vice President and General Manager of Microsoft Great Plains Business Solutions (Nasdaq: MSFT) which was headquartered in Fargo, ND. He was responsible the 75-member Solomon consulting team that was located in Atlanta, Dallas, Pleasanton (CA) and Wilmington, DE.

In 1990, Jim founded ClearView Software, Inc. and served as President. ClearView consisted of a 48-person consulting team that was located in Atlanta, Dallas, and Wilmington (DE). In September '98, after achieving a profitable, 5-year revenue growth rate of 2300%, ClearView was acquired by Solomon Software (Findlay, OH) to become the Solomon Technology Center (STC). The STC was responsible for custom software development, consulting, technical support, application training, and database conversion services for Solomon's 40,000 worldwide customers. During this time, Jim was part of Solomon's Sr. Management Team and was responsible for four US offices and a consulting team that had now grown to consist of 75 members. In June 2000, Great Plains Software (formerly Nasdaq: GPSI) - Solomon's #1 competitor - acquired Solomon. Then, in Dec 2000, Microsoft announced its plans to acquire Great Plains.

Between 1988 and 1990, Jim joined The Data Place Inc. (his family's business) and served as Vice President of Customer Support. During that time he installed numerous PC networks and was responsible for all types of customer support issues.

Between 1986 and 1988, Jim worked for General Electric Corporation as a Field Engineer in Charlotte, NC. He was responsible for performing all types of installation and service work on plant equipment such as programmable logic controllers (PLC's), high voltage switchgear, motor control centers, drive units, and transformers.

Between 1983 and 1986 (while attending NC State), Jim worked for IBM Corporation and served as a Marketing Support Assistant at the IBM Product Center in Raleigh. He was responsible for configuring PC's and training customers to use their newly purchased computers.
Jim is a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Novell Certified Netware Engineer (CNE), and holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University (Raleigh).

Jim is currently serving as a board member for the Lighthouse Group, a financial software consulting firm with locations in Atlanta and Pasadena. In addition, he is very active in the Hilton Head community serving as a board member for the Greater Beaufort-Hilton Head Economic Development Partnership and the Technical College of the Lowcountry. Jim is Co-Chairman of the Technology Committee for the Economic Development Partnership and is a member of the Leadership Hilton Head-Bluffton class of 2003.


John Covert
VP Development - Client Components
John joined Revolution D in September 2002. From July 2001 to September 2002, he was Director of Software Development for Accountable Software, an MBS ISV, where he led the software development team responsible for earning the organization the distinction of Global Solution Developer of the Year. Prior to joining Accountable Software, he held senior software engineering roles at Scott Paper Company, ClearView Software, Inc., Solomon Software, Inc. and Great Plains Software, Inc. He has over 17 years of experience providing custom software and consulting services to end user organizations in a broad range of businesses and disciplines. John holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Widener University.

 

Joe Mezera
VP Development - Server Components
Joe joined Revolution D in September 2002. From June of 1999 to July of 2001, Joe was VP, Software Engineering and co-founder of EC Outlook, a software company and application service provider specializing in business-to-business transactions. Prior to that, Joe worked as a software developer for Sterling Commerce, recognized as an industry leader in B2B system integration software and services, and has spent a significant number of years consulting and developing custom desktop and web-based database applications. Joe has over 14 years of software development and consulting experience, with extensive database development skills and experience in desktop, client/server and web development. Joe holds a B.S. degree in Economics from Denison University.
